Customer Experiences

I’m giving 5 stars for the guitar part, but only 3 for the bass. As a bass player, I was looking for a double neck to play the early Genesis and there’s not a lot of options on the market beside custom made. The guitar part was great from the start, almost no setup adjustment needed. I had to add a strap button below the bass neck to better balance the weight because it was quite uncomfortable to play (you literally had to “carry” the neck with your left hand). The bass was disappointing, a lot of uneven frets (fixed easily by a luthier) and the bridge was not placed accurately, making the E string 1/8” off from the pickup pole creating a weird sound with no sustain at all. To remedy that, I replaced the Gotoh bridge with the Fender vintage where you can adjust string spacing. With a few hours of tinkering (and an additional $300) I was finally able to get a good sound out of it and now don’t regret the purchase. Last advice for the bassists: this is a short scale bass, so make sure to use strings with the proper length and gauge (I use the D’Addario XL short scale 50-105 and they sound great).

Hi there. I love my new Red 6/4 twin neck and thought I would fill you in a bit on what I use it for. I own and run a disability space. I hate the term disability and I call it Diffability because it truly is a place for different abilities. Music plays a big part and swapping guitars and basses can be tricky for some of the crew with mobility issues. The gang love this 6/4 and it’s the only guitar they use since it turned up. Love the guitar for the smiles, creativity and ease it brings the gang. Cheers Tim The Twist Factory Narooma Australia

Can’t complain … I mean if I did , I would be an idiot . Great fun is being had with the double neck 6/4 . My band is @first_class_creeps on Instagram :) My name is @kevvonholt Would be cool to get a plug on both … 😝 Much love Kev von Holt Abstract artist And Singer / guitarist for @firat_class_creeps Ps I will be using it in our next video

I searched long time for a double neck that had the features of the Eastwood 6/4. First, I wanted a guitar-bass combination, not a guitar-guitar one. Second, I wanted a vibrato arm on the guitar part. Third, and not the least important, I wanted the guitar part on top where my fingers have to fly, in contrast to the lower bass section where they can lope along more leisurely. When I saw the Eastman 6/4, it only took a moment to determine it was what I needed for many gigs.

I’ve been looking for a double neck for years. Bought one elsewhere - super heavy. This thing weighs about the same as my Les Paul. Service was excellent. The hardest thing was the weight. I’m so psyched to have this guitar. It is perfect for looping and really is a beautiful, eye catching instrument. Holds its tune and puts out a great surfy tone with some spring reverb. I run this through a helix so I can switch from Guitar to bass amp with one switch. I put her in a tuxedo with some DR neon white bass strings for some added appeal. Can’t say enough good things about Eastwood and their customer service. From the several questions I had up front to the personalized message on the outside of the shipping box- they are top notch and I’d do business with them again. Thank you Eastwood! Cheers!

My dream instrument come true, and at a very reasonable price! The guitar is good quality and was ready to play right out of the box. I have two other Eastwood instruments and have never been anything but impressed. For looper enthusiasists, this makes things super easy, and is gaurunteed to get some attention. I would have liked better communication as there were several delays and confusion about shipping, but at the end of it, I am a happy double necked guitar wielding camper.

This was my first time ordering from Eastwood. The support was great (I have bugged Vince on numerous occasions and he's always been helpful). When I got it the necks needed a little tweaking to fix some buzzing frets, but that took a few seconds to fix. I love the sound of it and after a few weeks I am still enjoying it every time I pick it up.

Just unboxed the Eastwood 4 / 6 Doubleneck - INCREDIBLE BUILD !! Much better than expected. Beautiful rich finish and attention to detail. And it plays as good as it looks. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - Very happy customer. Well worth the wait for a custom build, and WHERE ELSE WOULD YOU EVER GET A CUSTOM FOR THIS PRICE!!? Incredible.
